Option one
Select the files you want to compress.
Right click and hover over to send to and click compressed(zipped) folder
You will then be prompted to change the file name.
Your files are now compressed and you can send them or share them via email.
Option two
Using winrar or winzip
Download winrar or winzip, you can either use the trial version or pay for the full version.
On that website, different winrar files exist. 32 bit. 64bit and also in different languages.
Click one that is appropriate to you and download it.
Install the program after and then your ready to use it.
select the files you want to compress.
Right click and click on Add to archive
An options box comes up
Click Browse to change the location where to save the file.
You can change the archive format from RAR to RAR5 or ZIP. And you can also change other archiving options shown on the right side of the window.
You can split the compressed files into small size by clicking on the drop down menu.
Finally, you can set a password for your compressed file, so that only the people you share with the password can access the contents of the file.
When your done click on OK..
Your file is ready to send or share.
