This tool is available in windows vista, 7 and 8.
- On windows 8, press the windows button
to get to the start menu and start typing "snipping tool".
Open the program. By default you snip the screen in a rectangular form but you can change the format of the snip to other shapes as shown below:
"Free-form snip" lets you draw any shape with your mouse
"Window snip" lets you select a window to snip
"Full screensnip" lets you snip the all window without the snip tool
You can change certain properties in the Snipping options
You can further edit the screenshot;
You can create a new snip or save, copy send or erase some parts of the screenshot.by clicking any of those tabs.
