Shutting down windows 8 using VBS script shortcut

Using VBS script seems to be complicated but the essence is to create a shortcut on the desktop so that you shut down your computer by clicking an icon on the desktop.

Create a new text document by right-clicking on the desktop.

Add the following code in the document

Save the with a vbs extension

Check on the desktop the icon will be available

Double click this icon to shut down

 You are now done. Whenever you want to shut down click on that icon.
